If a student is caught breaking rules or behaving unbecomingly in McConnell Hall, [[Resident Assistant|Resident Assistants]] have the power to assign disciplinary points for the student's actions. To appeal for a reduction of disciplinary points, the docked student can sign up to attend a Judicial Board hearing. Do note that JBoard can only host sessions for Level 1 Documentations. Based on the student's court appeal during the hearing, the board can then reduce the number of points in increments of five. These hearings do not review academic points, however, which are assigned for missing classes, being late to seminar, Academic Un-Integrity (which is very Un-Good), etc. For more information about the disciplinary system and common things that get people docked, check out the [https://tams.unt.edu/sites/default/files/studentlife/forms/tams_handbook_2020-2021v5.pdf TAMS handbook]! (Student life policies start on pg 19.)

You only start losing privileges and/or honors at 30 student life points. That ISN'T to say, however, that you just act however you please until you hit the 25-point mark. Please be courteous to others <3
