Stanford student and TAMS alumna [[Lainey Wang]] created a video-calling Chrome extension start-up called [https://www.sesamecall.com/ Sesame] with her girlfriend, Stanford student Maddie Wang. After Lainey introduced it to TAMS students, it quickly became one of the primary ways of socialization for TAMS students. Lainey later quit the Sesame development team, which is now solely run by Maddie. Sesame was popular amongst students, but did not completely catch on due to the extension being solely for Chrome; senior [[Ben Wang]] made a [https://github.com/wbne/sesame-in-firefoxish questionable Firefox port] for the Sesame extension.
