The Cockroach Tree Incident took place during the 2019-2020 academic year. Regarded as one of the legendary stories by the class of 2021, it begins behind McConnell hall with a fake tree sitting beside the dumpster. The creative minds of TAMS students was on brilliant display as an unknown party decided to bring the tree inside, and upstairs to the [[B300]] wing. Here it would passed around for 2-3 days as a prank between the students of the [[A300]] and [[B300]] wings. While this took place, students would awake the next morning to find a large amount of dead cockroaches in the [[A300]] and [[B300]] hallways. This problem was further exaggerated when an unknown party decided to take the tree and place it in one of the showers of the [[B300]] community bathroom. The tree was later thrown out after it was determined that there was a cockroach nest inside the tree's planter.
