The TAMS Media Arts Track serves as an introduction to the field of media studies. Students have the opportunity to take courses in media writing, theory, production, and analysis, and gain experience in television, radio, and audio production through on-campus outlets, including UNT’s student-run radio and television stations, KNTU and ntTV. Students who go on to pursue their bachelor’s degree in media arts go into careers as directors, screenwriters, radio/television broadcasters and announcers, digital editors, news writers, production assistants, documentarians, and more.
