Great Comeback

The "Great Comeback" is the seminal moment TAMS students once more step foot in McConnell Hall as residents, following the COVID-19 pandemic. After a period of more than one-and-a-half years of separation from their natural environment, TAMS students will once more be in their beloved residence hall, though the class that makes this journey will have no prior experience of life at the hall (hence, this wiki). By most estimates, the Class of 2022 will lead the Great Comeback, with the Class of 2023 by their side. However, this has yet to be determined for certain.

No one can predict how the COVID-19 quarantine situation will affect TAMS student life for years to come. However, it is certain that the Great Comeback will be marked as one of the most seminal events in TAMS History.

As of May 2021, housing applications for summer research participants of Class of 2022 are sent out, marking a step ever closer to a preliminary return to McConnell Hall. With over 70 Class of 2022 and Class of 2023 pioneers, summer research will mark the preliminary version of the full Great Comeback, likely in the fall.

The "Greatest Comebacker"

The first TAMS student who steps into McConnell Hall with moving supplies with the intent of moving in permanently will be known as the "Greatest Comebacker." Ancient scriptures have it that this student will bring a reign of peace unto TAMS for several millennia, and be hailed as the "holy lamb, to whose name praise is due forever and ever, amen."
