Tracks
TAMS offers several tracks:
- General Science and Mathematics
- Computer Science and Mathematics
- Music
- Visual Arts and Design
- Media Arts
- Engineering
- Health Professions
Originally, only the General Science and Mathematics track was offered starting with the Class of 1990. The Computer Science + Computer Engineering track was introduced starting with the Class of 2018. The Class of 2021 saw the addition of the Music, Visual Arts and Design, and Media Arts tracks. Finally, the Class of 2023 saw the addition of the Engineering and Health Professions Tracks, as well as many unique pathways within the Computer Science and Mathematics Track. With these changes, the names of the preexisting tracks were updated. The pathways within tracks allow students to complete a "2+2" degree program for TAMS students who remain at the University of North Texas to complete their baccalaureate degree.
