The Incident
One fateful night at McConnell Hall, there was a tornado watch and winds howled outside. Alarms began to go off. Naturally, one would expect it to be tornado alarms, but in fact, it was a fire alarm! The student body was ushered outside into Mac Park in cold, windy weather wearing just what they had on them.
Cause
According to legend, the cause was Austin Liu microwaving popcorn for an extensive amount of time in SAC. Rumor has it that he microwaved it for several minutes (!), causing it to burn, and the resulting smoke set off the fire alarm.
