They are usually closed for breakfast, though pancakes are served once a week and occasionally various berries show up. There are a variety of vegetarian foods for lunch and dinner. Bruce has special events once in a while that help break up the monotonous rôtisserie chicken such as a Thanksgiving lunch with turkey, gravy, and other classic dishes, a Harry Potter-themed dinner around Christmas, and a Cajun meal with crawfish. Every Wednesday at 5 PM, the names of students with birthdays that week will be read over the loudspeaker and a live musician will perform while cake is served.
Every Friday of October, Bruce serves Hispanic food for Hispanic heritage month. They also decorated the entire place with flags and banners. For Halloween the cafeteria was decorated for the month and they served Halloween-themed food on Halloween.
