TAMS takes home first place overall!
Football won first place in a 3-0 sweep of its competition- but not without a 2 minute, 14-point comeback off of a Hail Mary from Mason Haynes to Hunter Anderson on fourth down to bring the game to seven, a crazy tipped pass pick-six by Senior Tanner Hornsby, and a game-ending Malcolm Butler-esque goal line pick with thirty seconds left by Sage Copling to ice Game 2 for TAMS.
Basketball swept its competition, 3-0, with amazing games by Sai Sarnala, Govind Nandagopal, and Anirudh Nimmagadda. A play in the final competition of SLAMT, TAMS vs. LSMSA, certainly had some controversy, when Ani hit a 3-pointer in clutch time, turned to the home crowd, and shushed them. What a play!
Soccer dominated its competition to the extent that TAMS students began to play for the other team to keep the game fair, while we also won tennis handily.
Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Girl's Basketball took second place.
