Ben grew up in Dallas proper and came to Denton in 2001. After graduating UNT, he stayed in Denton and eventually found his way into the Housing department working as a Desk Clerk, and later as an assistant Hall Director at Kerr Hall until 2007. From 2009-2015, Ben lived on the coast of Kenya, East Africa working in the education of local Christian leaders, and has been working in TAMS Student Life since his return to the states. Ben loves studying cultures, history, religions, and language, and is always excited about delving into a great story. Ben lives near campus with his wife , Abbie, and four children, Olive, Lois, Jude, and Moses.
