On October 4th, 2022, Manas Navale, started frying samosas in the kitchenette as part of a fundraiser for the Ballot MUN committee. At roughly 10 PM, the fire alarm was triggered in the Kitchenette, causing a building-wide evacuation. The ultimate cause was linked to Jayanth Pandit spilling some oil on the floor.
