Instead of opening the window to ventilate the poorly-ventilated [[Kitchenette]], he made the grave mistake of opening the ''door'', letting out all the smoke into the hallways, thus triggering the smoke detectors. Now read this paragraph again, because this same thing happened twice.
Don't be like Kevin. If see smoke, open window, not door.
