This dining hall serves 100% vegan food, and quite frankly, its food feels the fanciest of all the main campus dining halls—not to mention its bougie, jazzy background music. Most importantly, it is home to Sam the Earl, the icon himself. Depending on your opinion of fancy vegetable dishes and vegan cheese, you could either love it (like the majority of TAMS kids) or hate it (no comment). Maple is well-known for its regionally-based themes: Tuesdays are for East Asian dishes, Wednesdays for South Asian, Thursdays for Italian, and Fridays for Mexican. (To be completely honest, I'm not entirely sure what Mondays are for. Perhaps just the classic American.) |
