Not to be confused with Mack Park on East McKinney Street, Mac Park is effectively the backyard of [[McConnell Hall]]. The parcel of land on the corner of Chestnut and Ave. C, is now affectionately referred to as Mac Park, but from 1959 until 2006 it was the site of the Student Health Center. After it was demolished the land was allowed to go fallow, and now students often use this field to play frisbee or football and often leave their personal property behind in or around the field. It should be noted however, after a rainstorm, Mac Park is unusable due to puddles of rain which form due to poor drainage.
